Nestled in Mýrdalur valley, beneath the majestic Katla volcano, Volcano Hotel is an ideal base for exploring Iceland's wonders. the room was spacious with modern amenities like a TV with Netflix. the black volcanic gravel that adorns the parking lot adds a unique touch to the cozy lobby. Our host, Victoria, was a delightful ambassador, ensuring our stay was nothing short of magical. the location near Vik offers breathtaking views and easy access to attractions. With only seven rooms, the hotel feels intimate and safe during these times. the breakfast spread was delicious, fueling us for days of hiking and exploring. Amidst the rolling meadows, this gem promises a peaceful retreat after days filled with adventure.
